This guided trip will take you on one of Norway’s most popular and spectacular hikes. It is for good reason that this hike has gained its popularity with visitors to Norway and locals alike. Why don't experience Pulpit Rock in sunrice over the mountains and beat the crowd from daytime? Situated only a few hours from Stavanger, Pulpit Rock – or Preikestolen in Norwegian – is a towering cliff-plateau directly suspended over Lysefjorden. To stand (or sit) so close to the edge is probably the moment that hikers look forward to the most, although it is no easy deed. The top offers unobstructed views over the meandering blue fjord that was formed by the glaciers during the last Ice Age, making it a good spot to enjoy a photo session and possibly a light snack.

It was a perfect experience. It is totally worth it the night hike was great and we had the chance to see Pulpit Rock without all the crowd

We went on this hike in December, not knowing what the weather conditions would be. The weather turned out to be perfect, alternating between blue skies and snow storm. Our guide Jakob was really nice and knowledgeable. Beginner hikers should be warned this is not an easy hike. There are several steep climbs and we couldn't have done it without proper equipment (crampons, hiking poles, proper clothing with several layers to adapt to the weather and not get cold or in sweat). All together this was an unforgettable experience. We barely encountered anyone on the trail which made it even more special, so in our case, doing this hike off season was a great idea. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Nous avons passé un moment extraordinaire ! Notre guide (Michael) était joyeux, curieux, attentif, a adapté le rythme comme il fallait. La vue au sommet est spectaculaire et permet de comprendre pourquoi on s'est levé aussi tôt (lumière sublime, peu de monde). Sur le retour, nous avons eu droit à un itinéraire secret qui évite encore davantage les foules, un régal ! Merci Michael, on a adoré !
