Stellar of the Seas Cruise Halong Bay 3Days 2Night on 5 Star Cruise

Our favorite part of the cruise was the excellent service and fun conversations with our butler Ka Ka. Traveling as a group of three friends, Ka Ka quickly learned our individual preferences. The ship is well appointed and the heated pool makes enjoying a cold Halong Sapphire Beer with the Halong Bay scenery around you the highlight of the trip.

Mandeep Bhullar below really said it well so I no need to repeat what he said. I'm only reviewing to set expectations for travelers who have experienced the world's best luxury accommodations and restaurants. The crew is amazing! Very friendly and attentive though limited English. They truly tried hard to provide good service. We booked one of the executive suites - shower only lukewarm but the bathtub had plenty of hot water. I can only add this: Ha Long Bay is easily a 1-day excursion. Staying over night was really unnecessary. The ship barely moves...I strongly recommend anyone going to Hanoi to do a 1-day tour of Ha Long but then get back to Hanoi or move on to other places.

This was the highlight of our postponed honeymoon trip. The ship is a beautiful modern yacht and the room was wonderfully appointed. We were in one of the two executive suites which was fabulous, the room was huge with a private balcony deck and very comfortable. Our butler Lisa was fantastic, some of the best service we have ever received. She was friendly, accommodating and took care of our every need whilst on board. The excursions were excellently organised, the cycle through Cat Ba island being a particular highlight. The food was also excellent, all included and we also enjoyed happy hour beforehand. The ship offers a lot of activities but to be honest we were happy to sit in our room or on our deck just watching Ha Long Bay float by, it was breathtaking. 2 nights is the perfect duration, and I wish we could do it all again. Also we enjoyed massages at the spa which were included in our room rate and were a wonderful treat.
