I am a specialist in winemaking and wines and will be able to guide you through this activity providing you with an abundance amount of knowledge on the topic of winemaking and the technicalities of the process. I will also provide insight into the wine industry in Stellenbosch and South Africa as well as the history of wine in our region. Having been born and grown up in Stellenbosch I will provide information on our history, our culture, our languages and much more. You will have spent a day with a local South African, having gained a huge amount of knowledge as well as having had fun. The area is really pretty with its mountains, hills and vineyards. The area will spoil your senses to the limit.

I will pick up travellers at their individual hotels in the Stellenbosch/Cape Town area at a prearranged time. Included in the wine tour cost. Usually between 9-10 am.

Martin was an incredible host. His vast knowledge of wine and the wine making process made the tour educational and fun. He selected a wide range of wineries that we thoroughly enjoyed. We tasted at least 20 different wines and must admit we were a bit tipsy at the end of it. Must do tour in Stellenbosch!

My husband and I have traveled extensively (93 countries), and we have had guides and tours everywhere, yesterday our tour guide Martin Stevens, from Cape Town, was our guide and driver to the Stellenbosch wine area. He was really quite excellent. Martin was very comfortable to be with, extremely knowledgeable, and one of the best wine maker/tour guide you will find in South Africa. He took us to three of the best wineries and he ensured our day in the area was perfect. Martin is a wonderful host, he has great experience as a wine maker, and this truly is a trip worth taking. Thank you Martin for making our day so enjoyable.
