We start the tour from our office, situated right next to the nature reserve. From here, we walk into the heart of the reserve. Our experienced guides will lead you, sharing their knowledge and passion for the natural environment. As you hike, you'll discover hidden nature spots off the beaten track. We commonly see deer and other animals but there is no guarantee. Please note, that this activity is not a dedicated wildlife safari; any wildlife spotting is a pleasant bonus. Your guide will also share interesting information about Swedish culture and the area's geology. In the middle of the hike, we'll treat you to a campfire-cooked lunch in a beautiful, secluded spot (during fire restrictions, we use gas stoves). At the end of the hike, we conclude the tour with a short 15-minute bus ride back to town, giving you time to relax and reflect on the day's adventures. Pleasant hike with beautiful scenery. The fika break and the wood-fired lunch was delicious although it could have been a bit more hearty.

Walked about 10miles but you can go at your own pace. Few ups and downs along the way, great view points of the lakes and forest. Veggie balls for lunch, great when lakes are frozen as you can see ice fishing, ice skaters and walk on the ice yourself

We experienced this tour as a small group of 4, we felt very lucky having managed to spot deer, squirrels and woodpeckers along the way, the nature reserve was beautiful and ever changing!!! We got lucky enough to walk on the iced lakes and watch the ice fisherman. Lunch was really lovely (Meatballs cooked over a fire). Our tour guide Yasmin was very knowledgeable of the area and made the entire experience a lot of fun.
