Had the pleasure of taking one of the tour buses around Stratford upon Avon today and it was wonderful, with the beautiful weather the open top bus was a fantastic bonus the views around the tour route are beautiful. Our tour guide Glynda was fantastic she was lovely and friendly from the start and her wealth of knowledge about the area and its history was nothing short of great. Our driver was very friendly and polite and provided a very smooth ride. If you get the chance I highly recommend you take one of these tours. No matter your age it’s an enjoyable day out for family and friends.

We did not have the time to “hop on - hop off”, but for the price, and the recorded commentary (with anecdotes) the round tour represented good value for money - and way to spend a relaxing hour.

If we had been staying a little longer we would have made better use of this. Great hop on/hop off with excellen audio guide. Takes in all the major sites with good explanations. You can even purchase combination tickets that give access to significant places en route.
