Traditional Afternoon Tea Experience and Baking Class in Stratford-upon-Avon

I strongly suggest this experience for anyone (single, couples, families, friends..). Fulden is a great cook and an awesome host. In addition to learning about baking, you have a wonderful time. I took part in this activity with my two kids (aged 10 and 12) and we all three had a great time. It's also a great chance to meet new, interesting and superkind people as we did :)) If I ever come back I'm taking other courses as well either on my own or with my kids. Fulden was an excellent host from the outset and made us feel instantly welcome in her home. The venue was amazing and the layout was great for our afternoon tea experience. Our experience began by making our own homemade jam, which Fulden explained and modelled before letting each of us have a go. Whilst waiting for our jam, Fulden gave each of us a glass of champagne, which was a great touch! Afterwards we began making a chocolate fudge cake, where Fulden explained each of the ingredients and the method to make it. Again, she gave each of us time to have a go at a different part of the baking process. Whilst waiting for the cake to cook, we then went to a different area of Fulden’s wonderful kitchen and we each made a different flavoured scone. Once again, Fulden was clear in explaining each ingredient and the method that we should use. After all of the baking had been completed, we sat down on a separate table which had been laid and decorated beautifully and we enjoyed the food that we had created alongside some extra bits that Fulden had produced herself. Overall, the day and the experience was absolutely amazing. Fulden was a wonderful host who taught us so many new skills and offered us an insight into all of the baking knowledge that she has. I would highly recommend attending one of Fulden’s classes and I’m sure we will be booking another experience as well! Thank you Fulden for a wonderful day!

Fulden is a superior teacher and hostess. She posseses a worldly charm which enhances the adventure. She effortlessly orchestrated the natural flow of receiving her students, inspiring socialization, filled our minds with new knowledge and gave us the experience of High Tea. I recommend this experience to all!!
