    We’re thrilled to welcome you to Superblue Miami. Please arrive 15 minutes before your timed ticket and be prepared to show the ticket in this email for entry. Please arrive at Superblue Miami 15 minutes prior to your ticket time; you will enter the experience at your reserved ticket time. Superblue Miami is a one-way flow. Visitors will enter through the lobby, move through teamLab’s digital experience, proceed through the enveloping light-based Ganzfeld work by James Turrell, navigate through Es Devlin’s immersive environment, and then enter the exclusive Superblue Gift Shop. Superblue Miami is located directly across from the Rubell Museum in Allapattah, and is accessible via Brightline’s Miami Central Station, with direct Brightline+ service to the venue. There is also limited on-street parking available and valet parking provided for a fee Tuesday-Sunday.

I wish it had half stars. This is 3.5 stars. I wanted to love it, I really did, but overall it was a bit underwhelming. Don’t compare it to the Van Gogh experience, you’ll be disappointed. It was way smaller than I expected. The flow and signage was quite terrible considering how easy it looked on the map. I paid extra for the cloud experience and that was pretty fun. Not $12 worth of fun, but it was fun. The light bulbs was actually my favorite part. The mirrored maze was cool too. The gift shop was awful. Hardly any prices on anything. I brought 4 regular postcards (2 of the clouds, 1 of the lightbulbs, and 1 of the flowers) and one of the fancy 3D ones up to the register to checkout and the girl mumbled something about them being sold in sets. There was NO information posted on ANY of the multi postcard displays explaining this fact. So she took the all the post cards and handed me back the light bulb one and the fancy 3D one. This was over $8. She didn’t really explain what to do about the sets. So I spent over $8 for 2 postcards and didn’t even get all the ones I wanted. Signs on ALL of the displays could’ve prevented this. Adding up the cost of a Lyft to and from, the super blue experience, the cloud display, and the postcards and it’s not something I’d recommend or do again. There’s better things to do in Miami. The regular art museum was actually way better.

This event was an immersive and educational adventure. The beauty that my wife and I encountered made us tear up a bit. Check it out.
