Surin islands is one of the popular diving and snorkeling point in Thailand. This magnificent tropical paradise has been home of marine life especially the Sea Turtles. L’organizzazione di Sea stars è impeccabile. Isole stupende per chi ama i mari tropicali e le barriere coralline. Nella escursione in giornata oltre il pranzo è inclusa la cena allo sbarco. Forse solo per chi soffre il mal di mare non consiglierei questa escursione poiché sono quasi 2 ore in mare aperto e spesso la barca sbatte sulle onde nonostante il pilota sia stato bravo ed attento.

Really enjoyed this trip. 3 snorkeling stops where we saw loads of beautiful fish. Also visited 2 beaches and had lunch at one of them. When back on the boat we were continually provided with drinks (water or Coke) and lots of fruit. Crew were so informative and cheerful. Bonus of trip was that the captain spotted a whale on the trip back to the pier. He stopped the boat so that we could all see if the whale resurfaced. After a few minutes it did and we now have a lovely memory of seeing a Beluga Whale in its natural habitat. Wonderful. Tip: this trip can be purchased at many tour stalls and shops and will be hugely discounted from the price shown on the pamphlet and the price quoted by hotel / or your holiday company. Shop around. We paid £50 less than the pamphlet price.

Die Organisation des Trips zu den Surin Inseln war top. Ich habe mich auf Koh Phayam für Mr. Trip entschieden. Boot, Crew und das Essen waren super. Wir machten vier Schnorchelstopps. Drei davon waren erschreckend. Ein Stop zeigte wie es sicherlich vor einiger Zeit überall aussah. Fast alle Korallen sind tot. Die Vielfalt der Fischarten ist daher eingeschränkt. Auf Nachfrage, was passiert ist, erhielten wir die Information, dass die Strömungen an vielen Stellen zu lange zu warm waren und daher die Korallen gestorben sind. Zudem finden sich immer wieder Fischernetze, die sich in den Korallen vergangenen haben. Es tut mir sehr leid das sagen zu müssen, aber wer sich mit guten Schnorchelspots auskennt, wird sehr traurig sein. Nein, ich würde demnächst keinen erneuten Ausflug auf die Surin Inseln unternehmen.
