The tour guide was a no-show. After receiving the ticket which included the meeting address and exact location on google maps, I waited there outside for 30 minutes looking all over for any sort of tour vehicle with nobody in sight. Not on the street, nor in the parking lot, nor anywhere. And when I asked for a refund they said only a partial refund can be given. 0/5 terrible experience.

The tour itself and the management are incredible! Highly recommend. Would give a 5 if it wasn't for the ticket confusion. Be careful booking on Viator as the tickets don't mention the meeting time clearly if you request a collection. It's half an hour before the time on the ticket. If we hadn't passed the same tour operator while driving around exploring Swakopmund we would have missed our tour. When the driver didn't show to collect us we went to the tour site we passed which happened to be the same tour we had booked through a third party. Either go straight to Desert Explorer on the outskirts of town south heading towards Walvis Bay or note the time on the ticket and arrive more than half an hour before.

Pick-up for our excursion was on time, and the excursion itself was unbelievable. Our guide, Armando, was amazing and really let us have fun during quad biking and sandboarding!
