Husky Sledding Tour

We have just returned from a long weekend at Oatfield Huskies, with our hosts Ben & Naomi, we could not of asked for anything more. The location is just stunning, with picturesque views whichever way you turn. We experienced the sled dog trail, two teams of dogs who were magnificent and so happy to be doing what they clearly love, we spent time in the kennels with the dogs and the puppies, a dog persons 'heaven'. The children and the adults had so much fun on the snow covered frozen lake, it is amazing how the area is so lively, yet very tranquil at the same time. An evening in the forest, in a grill hut, sat around the fire pit cooking food/marshmallows and having so much fun. An amazing experience for all, I would say a once in a lifetime trip, but I am really hoping it won't be just once, as we would love to return to do it all again sometime in the near future. Thank you Ben & Naomi for making this happen, you are the perfect hosts, we wanted for nothing.

We spent a magical few days with Ben and Naomi and their beautiful dogs. It's an awesome and stunning location and they are so hospitable and kind. We learnt so much about dog sledding and the love they have for their huskies. The trip on the forest trail, overlooking the frozen lake with a team of clever, gorgeous sled dogs was an unforgettable and moving experience!

Had a fantastic few days with Ben, Naomi and all the huskies and puppies! We went out through the beautiful forest trail with a superb team of well organised dogs. Ben and Naomi were really knowledgeable about the area, the dogs and everything else related to sledding. Looking forward to already to going back out to see everyone again.
