    Hop aboard one of our safe, comfortable, and clean US Coast Guard certified vessels where you will join your Master Captain to embark on your journey into the Kings Bay refuge waters. Our master captains are trained to find manatees on your manatee tour, even in the offseason, and will deliver the best manatee tour in Crystal River, FL—every time. You will be paired with one of our expert in-water guides who will be with you every step of the way to assist in making your manatee tour safe and memorable. Your in-water guide will also serve as your professional photographer to capture your manatee swim memories, and those photos will be available for purchase upon arrival back to our facility. For this tour, all required gear is included at no additional charge.

My family and I has an amazing experience with our guides at Explorida! Captain John and guide Ethan are incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and very good interacting and teaching visitors of all ages! Our party included a child as well as a grandparent, and everyone had such fun! The perfect weather was a gift too, as was seeing a mother and baby manatee pair. Our captain and guide instructed us very kindly and confidently, and answered all of our questions, took us to explore a spring, and gave us ample opportunities to observe beautiful manatees. My group drove 7.5 hours to have this experience, after having to cancel due to a hurricane two years ago. It was all worth it to have this incredible day! We will definitely absolutely book with Explorida again, and no one else. Thank you for providing this opportunity! We are grateful!

We had such an amazing time with Explorida! We booked the manatee snorkel tour and went out with our guide, Ethan, and Captain GQ. We spotted a manatee almost right away and got to spend a long time swimming alongside her. She was so calm and graceful, just circling around us and munching on seagrass—it was incredible to watch up close. From the boat, we even saw three more manatees, which made it feel extra special. Ethan was a fantastic guide—super encouraging and calming, especially with the kids in our group. After the manatees, Captain GQ took us to two different springs. One was big and deep, and the other was shallow with the clearest water you can imagine. You could actually see the spring bubbling up through the sand—it was beautiful. Before we even got on the water, we enjoyed checking out their gift shop and learning more about manatees and their habitat. Grace at the front desk was wonderful—she took the time to talk with the kids about the different aquatic life they might see, which made them even more excited for the tour. All in all, the whole experience was unforgettable. We’re already planning to come back, especially when family visits from up north. Can’t recommend Explorida enough!

What a great experience! The entire staff, especially our diver/guide and the boat captain were so great. There weren't a lot of manatees in the area, due to the time of year, but our captain and guide found a mama and baby and we spent a lot of time in the water with them. The entire time with the manatees was so enjoyable! Being that close to them is an experience that you don't forget. We would highly recommend this trip to everyone!
