Our family went on the East Full Day Tour on Tuesday, 7/29, and had an unbelievable experience with Joao leading the helm as our tour guide. He is funny and personable, and he shows a strong passion for the history and beauty of Sao Miguel. He made the tour group feel like old friends and took us to all of the breathtaking sights on the itinerary. We had plenty of time to explore the amazing views, and he took the best photos of our family, which we will certainly treasure. We loved the Cozido lunch, which was abundant and delicious. My husband really enjoyed sharing family memories and Azorean traditions from his upbringing, and Joao could totally relate and had stories of his own to share. I wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour with Pure Azores Tours, and we are so thankful that Joao helped provide these wonderful memories. Thank you to Pure Azores and Joao!
