This was an excellent walking tour that gave us a good overview of Papeete and some of the history of French Polynesia. Christian did a great job.

Christian was born and raised in Papeete near the hotel that you were staying at. He has a local's perspective on history and the government. Quite different than you will read on signs or on the government tours. We did find the Queen's house as well as some government buildings and a lovely bathing area that the queen used to use that we would not have seen without Christian. He is very patient and we asked a lot of questions. I would recommend this for newcomers to Papeete.
