It was a fine experience but a bit underwhelmed. Mostly because the wrecks is located in a deeper area, so not shallow like the lagoons and clarity was not the best. It also felt a bit short, probably just about 1.5 hours.

This is the snorkeling trip you need to book! Captain Benoit was a wonderful guide in the water and so congenial. The boat and plane wreck is very cool and we spent a good amount of time in the shallow reef. He made sure we saw the different sea life and explained what we might see ahead of time so we knew what we were looking at. He only takes 5 passengers so it’s a nice and personal experience. He also takes underwater pictures that he sends you! His boat is a 10 minute taxi ride from the Papeete taxi stand and made sure we got a a taxi back. Definitely 5 stars!

Captain Benoit was super friendly and showed us all the cool spots! Taking photos is an added bonus. Would definitely recommend.
