My mom and I had a great time on this tour. Vincent was our guide. He was knowledgeable of the area and was very accommodating. My mom is 70 years old and has issues walking for long periods of time or when going up and down stairs. Vincent knew exactly how to alter our paths so that my mom can join for most of the tour . The last part of the tour where there’s a bit of a hike to see the Shifen waterfall, my mom was comfortably enjoying a cup of coffee in a coffee shop while waiting for us. I was interested in dining at the teahouse in Jiufen that was said to be the inspiration for the teahouse in Spirited Away. But with Vincent’s expert recommendation, and a little walk through a tunnel, we were at a teahouse literally next door that was not crowded, great food, great tea service, and amazing view!!! I couldn’t be happier - it’s little gems like that hidden treehouse that make traveling memorable.

My husband and I had an amazing private tour from Taipei to Jiufen, Yehliu Geopark, and Pingxi with our guide, Nicolas Ying. He was on time, very friendly, and full of great energy. Nicolas was knowledgeable about every spot we visited and knew all the best shortcuts and photo spots. He also gave us great local recommendations and took lots of pictures for us, which we really appreciated! The whole day was smooth, fun, and relaxed. It felt like exploring with a local friend. Highly recommend this tour and Nicolas if you’re visiting Taipei!
