We offer hotel pickup in Taipei City downtown for bookings with more than 2 people. For booking with 1 or 2 people, please come to the Westgate Hotel or W Taipei for pickup.

Westgate Hotel (No. 150, Section1, Zhonghua Road, Taipei City) is close to MRT Ximen Station, while W Taipei (No. 10, Zhongxiao East Road Section 5, Xinyi District, Taipei City)
is close to MRT City Hall Station.

Please provide your pickup location by 3pm one day before your tour. Otherwise the pickup location will be arranged at the WESTGATE Hotel (No. 150號, Section 1, Zhonghua Rd, Wanhua District, Taipei City, Taiwan), where you could reach by taking MRT to Ximen station and walk to there. Thank you for your cooperation.

The pickup time will be between 08:00~09:00. The exact pickup time and driver's info will be updated to you via message one day before this tour.

    Yehliu Geological Park (野柳地質公園) resides within a cape 1.7km long and is home to some of the most famous eroded rock formations in the world.

  • Golden Waterfall, Ruifang, Taiwan
    Golden Waterfall is located near the Gold Ecological Park (黃金博物園區) in Jinguashi. Although real gold flowing from these falls would be too good to be true, the water is certainly a beautiful gold color as a result of the combination of regular rainfall in this mining area and the abundance of heavy metal elements deposited in the riverbed.

  • Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street), Ruifang, Taiwan
    With an unmatched old town atmosphere and seaside flair, Jiufen (九份) is a must see spot when visiting northern Taiwan. Always teeming with tourists, you might notice that Japanese people make up a huge proportion of the crowds gathered. Many are keen to catch a glimpse of the setting of Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award winning “Spirited Away”, especially the iconic red lanterns. This is also a film mecca for lovers of Taiwanese film, especially fans of Hou Hsiao-hsien's “A City of Sadness” (悲情城市), which utilized Jiufen as the backdrop to the events of the 228 Incident. Given Hou’s recent award of Best Director in the 2015 International Cannes Film Festival for his new film “The Assassin”, we expect even more people will make their way here in years to come.

    Shifen Old Street is a bustling hub for those eager to get a glimpse of an old railroad town which still retains the charm of yesteryear. Originally built to transport coal, the Shifen Old Street stop has now become one of the most popular on the Pingxi rail-line. It is easy to see why so many are drawn here - local food, souvenir shops and puffing trains add to the charm of this little gem, as well as make it a fantastic place for photography.

This was our first visit to Taipei so we were excited to get out of the city and explore the island. We had a brief MRT ride to our pick up point. The driver was prompt and timely on his pickup. Even though the tour we took was in Mandarin due to it being easier on the budget a, we speak English, we were able to communicate enough to enjoy the tour. The first stop was at Yehliu Geopark. It was a nice stop but we could of used a bit more time to explore. The scenery on the way to Shifen Waterfall was great. We enjoyed the stop but could have also used a bit more time to explore. The highlight of the day, for us, was Golden Waterfall and Shifen Old Street. We enjoyed the Sky Lantern experience. We were able to paint a Sky Lantern and send it off. Definitely a must do and hopefully you get a great photographer like we did. Lastly we had an amazing meal in the Jiufen Market. The soup dumplings were amazing and one of our favorite meals in Taipei. We also enjoyed a Milk Tea with homemade Boba. Overall it was a great day and would recommend this day trip. Guide Martin was punctual and friendly. The time at each locations was perfect. I ended up meeting new solo travelers like myself. Martin even offer to take photos so I could capture the moments with me in them.
