No trip to Agra would be complete without a visit to this shimmering vision of domes and minarets. The world's best-known tomb stands testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th-century Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, and his wife, Mumtaz Mahal.

    12:00pm - Visit the Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. 1:30pm - Lunch will be provided at Restaurant. (If you selected All incl. Price) 3:00pm - Free time for shopping in Agra (optional), which is known for its fabulous handicrafts made of marble and soft stone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of the arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took a personal interest in the arts and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leather-ware, brass-ware, carpets, jewelry, embroidery work, and more.

I had a very nice day and a very rich experience with Classic Tours India. I was lucky enough to book this Taj Mahal Tour, and being able to visit 3 sights that day was unique. Thank you to Nazim for the Agra and Taj Mahal visits. The Wildlife SOS elephant conservation was also a very unique moment and a respectful way to approach these beautiful animals. Their work is so important for the elephant; this place needs to be visited and their work recognized. Thank you to Vicky, the excellent driver who brought me through the day! Amazing day and discoveries; I highly recommend this Taj Mahal Tour.

Our experience with Classic Tours India was wonderful.  We had a great time seeing the Taj Mahal and enjoyed the second-monument Agra Fort as well. The car was very clean, and Ravi, the guide, was excellent. I advise anyone who wants to take the private Taj Mahal same-day tour from Delhi to do so.

Classic Tours India (the tour company) was great. They were well organised from the start. I received WhatsApp messages before the tour informing me the tour guide and driver's name (the guide was Farmann and driver was Gurmeet) and contact details. They were on time, friendly and spoke English well. The car was air conditioned, clean and comfortable. We were provided bottled water during the day which was great because of the hot weather. Farmaan was very knowledgeable and patient as I took many photos of Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. He is also an excellent photographer! Lunch was a buffet at a 5 star hotel. Food was good and also included local dishes to try. Overall, the tour was a great experience. I would recommend Classic Tours India!
