You will learn about the history of Estonia and Latvia and its people by visiting several places with our experienced guides. We’ll take you from small towns and medieval castle ruins to quirky local sights and through the beautiful countryside.
  • Cesis Castle Outdoor Stage, Cesis, Latvia
    Get ready to roam not one but two medieval castles, Viljandi and Cēsis, and discover how they came to be ruined. Learn about the history of Estonia and Latvia in Valga the border town between the two countries.
  • Gauja National Park, Latvia
    We’ll visit the Gauja National Park where you can hike by the picturesque sand cliffs and take in the sights of the medieval Old Town in Cēsis. Before we reach Riga we’ll stop in Sigulda to climb up the only Bobsleigh Track in the Baltics.
  • Valga, Valga, Estonia
    In Valga we also stop for a lunch at a local restaurant. Kindly let our guides know if you have any special dietary needs that we should take in account. Location of the lunch is subject to availability and the meal is not included in the price of the tour.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The guide is knowledgeable, thoughtful. The sights were fabulous, include culture, history and hikes. Singing and DJ sessions on bus!

A great day with a high energy tour guide. As a solo traveller, spending the day with 8 other people seeing the sights (but with no responsibility) is a great break from my average holiday day walking around, plus you get the the next city on the Helsinki-Tallinn-Riga-Vilnius route that seems to be very, very popular (at least half of the people on my tour were following that route.) Highly recommend!

Excellent assortment of side visits on the road to Riga. Mike, the guide/raconteur, was an amazing friendly and knowledgeable individual. Not a dull moment.
