Go do the la leona waterfall tour!! You will not regret it. We were picked up at our hotel by Hernan. Hernan is so nice and just pleasant guy. He was talking about all the areas we passed by as we were driving. When we got to the park we were met by Nacho the tour guide. He was awesome and this was a amazing experience. It is a good workout but nothing too extreme. Nacho is super helpful and you are in good hands. Hernan drove us back and we stopped through Liberia and he pointed out all the old historical buildings. We also stopped for souvenir shopping on the way home. I highly recommend these guys are great and the waterfall at LA Leona is amazing.

The hike to La Leona waterfall was a fun challenge! We had friends recommend the trip and it lived up to our expectations. We learned about the area, physically challenged ourselves, and saw some absolutely beautiful parts of Costa Rica! One highlight was seeing a Blue Morph butterfly and a Motmot bird!
