The town of Rameshwaram stands as a testimony of his faith.     Dhanushkodi Beach in large numbers and allows you to see how a bustling city became a ghost town after a natural disaster. A 1964 cyclone destroyed a railway line. After the sightseeing at 1 pm you will make a stop at Hyatt Place Rameshwar for lunch (at your own cost), where you can choose a cuisine and a desired restaurant. After lunch, you will continue your tour by visiting Dhanushkodi Beach, which is the southern tip of the Rameshwaram. At the end of this tour at 4:30 pm, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Madurai.

Meenakshi Amma darsan... we have had blessed darsan of Amma twice in one day. Next day morning we left for Rameswaram. Halted on the Pamban bridge for a few minutes and reached Rameswaram. Had blessed darsan of Ramanathan Swamy four times in two days of our stay there. Had sphatika linga darsan at 5 am.

Madurai is a famous historic place. The market area reflects its old identity. A 1 hour walk through this town can bring back the memories of the Pandya rulers.

Must plan for this trip - so many places to cover in a day makes it very exiting . Apart from the main temple at Rameswaram there are many smaller temples that one must visit and some of them are at a very scenic places. Must visit is the Abdul Kalam memorial , Pamban Bridge , Dhanush Kodi .
