  • Maasai Market Curios and Crafts, Arusha, Tanzania
    The market has so much stalls as you can see as you enter. Each stall appears to have the same products, others have some other stuff. In my experience, all of the vendors were respectful as they await for you to enter their stall. They would say "mzungu", I waited for you" and "please you can touch, touching is free". You can looking around and you'll see many nice things to take home. It can be a bit overwhelming because there are so much stuff to see. Vendors would hand you a medium size basket indicating that you may put the stuff you want in the basket as you continue to look around in their store. They are also polite and would thank you even if you didn't purchase anything from their store. You will successful to buy the stuff you want for ur family and friends.

    Arusha National Natural History & Cultural Museum This museum inside the old German boma (fortified compound), completed in 1900, has three parts. The best is the wing dedicated to human evolution, since much of what we know about the topic came from fossils unearthed in Tanzania. There are also displays on insects, the history of Arusha during the German colonial era, and wildlife photos and mounts.

This very special day began with an on time pick-up and Departure. Our guide was Daniel who was professional, courteous, personable and very knowledgeable about Arusha and Tanzania. He served as our guide at a couple of our stops and assisted the onsite guide at the other stops. He took the time to share some of his personal story and we were able to get to know him better. Our Goal was to immerse ourselves in Arusha for our first day touring and Daniel was excellent at helping us accomplish that. Highly recommend him & his company. This organization as been in business for a number of years and their experience shows.

This is a great way of spending one day in Arusha in order to have an overview of the city, it history and it main atractions. The guide was very good and everything was fine.
