Magoroto forest is situated in the East Usambara mountains in north-east Tanzania. The East Usambaras form part of the mountain chain called the Eastern Arc which ranges from southern Kenya to southern Tanzania. Magoroto with its tropical rain forest is the perfect spot for a getaway.The estate is located on an altitude of 850m above sea level where temperatures are pleasant all year long. The estate offers stunning views from the Muheza Valley to the Indian ocean. A national treasure. Protect this place at all costs! Magoroto is one of the most beautiful hidden away spots in Northern Tanzania. And it's not even that far from the highway at Muheza. Perfect Tour organizer professional person from Safari soles tours, we visisted for the weekend getaway, with friends or family or a significant other. Enjoy the offered activities: a hike to the view points, waterfalls or a bike ride. The chameleon tour or spice tour. And of course the lake activities: swimming, rafting, paddle-boarding

Magoroto with Safari soles tours is an amazing place to stay The safari soles team staff goes over and beyond what is expected to make your stay a memorable experience. We did a lot actually, we hiked short mountain then we go chasing waterfalls, in the evening we had dinner and bonfire with some music on! The next day we had boat ride n swimming....it was amazing honestly. We got good treatment and the services was good. Some improvements needed on the food options and breakfast. Everything else was great. Thanks to Bryson and Salim for all your listening and caring. You’re the best. I’m actually planning to come back for horse riding last time I missed

For a lack of better words, Magoroto trip organized by safari soles tours is simply magical! From the warmth of the hosts to the sheer beauty of the location, I would say, skip the super touristic activities and head to this estate. It's a 5-6hr drive from Dar, but certainly a trip you will not regret. Even the owner of the company was awesome, polite and helpful. We have done many safaris and experiences but i can honestly say this is one of my tops for the experience and the guiding company!! I FULLY RECOMMEND!! For sure i will be looking for more things they offer when i go back
