3 Days Mount Meru trekking

Very bad company, cheating on your money, give you the wrong bank account number and won´t transfer the money back. Took it 3 times the money. Not picking up the phone anymore. Bad cars. bad equipment. The guides where also very unexperienced.

The hike was really great, it was challenging but broken into stages that are really acceptable. The views from the top are truly incredible and I am very happy that I did this hike. The guide/ranger/cook/porters were very nice and made the trip quite comfortable and the food, quality and quantity, was really good. In terms of improvements, I was a little disappointed by the pressure I felt for the amount of a tip I was supposed to give with the guide stating that between the 6 people involved (initially told there would only be 4 people) the usually collective tip would be 250-300 USD on top of the 700 already paid. While the team did great work, it was difficult as a solo traveller to cover such a cost alone. Additionally, on the return hike, I was pressured by the ranger to move faster which made the final hike a bit less enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience which I will always remember but I would recommend doing the hike as a group if possible.

Absolument ravie de mon experience avec Rupia sur ce trek. Tres réactif, la reservation a pu se faire avant mon départ avec sur place un pré-brefing proposé pour checker le materiel et finaliser les derniers détails administratif. L équipe est absolument fiable, ponctuelle, professionnelle. Emmanuel, guide, a su etre à l écoute durant ces 3 jours et s adapter a mon allure et envie d un trek "dynamique". Gentilesse et trés bon service de la part de la team: Samuel( cuisinier) et Cashbeth ( porteur) avec à chaque étape effectuée de l eau chaude pour se laver, un temps pour prendre le thé, et de délicieux repas. Sommet atteint sans trop de difficulté et accessible à un grand nombre de personnes. L équipe fait son maximum pour vous offrir réussite. Le retour s est aussi tres bien deroulé, avec accompagnement jusqu'à me mettre dans le bon bus pour Moshi...à la vue du Kilimandjaro qq heures plus tard, je décidai sur un coup de tete de renouveler une aventure par la voie Marangu 5 jours avec Rupia, en retrouvant toute l'équipe!!! Si besoin de materiel, l agence pourra vous fournir du materiel de qualite, propre et fonctionnel. Ne pas hesiter à communiquer par Whatsapp pour affiner vos besoins et demandes. Je recommande!
