This UNESCO world heritage site, one of the seven wonders of Africa and most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano, is 610 m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometres. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25 000, the crater offers the best game viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In matter of minutes you will be able to see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. With a little bit of luck you might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino through the grass. After lunch you will ascend the steep walls of the crater and head to Arusha an overnight stay.

Gift handled all reservations and was incredibly responsive to my requests, even adjusting the itinerary on short notice to replace Lake Manyara with a breathtaking day hike on Kilimanjaro due to flooding—an amazing alternative. With over 24 years of experience, he shared his deep knowledge of the wildlife, answered all our questions with patience, and ensured we had the best possible sightings. Dula, our cook, deserves high praise—his meals were nothing short of incredible, as if prepared in a top-tier restaurant, despite being made in the middle of the wilderness. We had a safari that couldn't have been better. I looked through every possible provider beforehand and even after the safari I can say that you won't find anything better in terms of value for money. One night before and after the safari at the Hotel Tourist Inn and the transfer from the airport are included. They are flexible when it comes to payment. You get breakfast and 2 hot meals a day, which were always very tasty and plentiful. Our guide was Samuel. He is super experienced, drives routes that the masses don't drive and has an eagle eye. He also responds to your wishes, is super friendly and courteous and just extremely funny. He also made the safari so unforgettable, thank you Samuel!

BEWARE! Possible bankruptcy, Apparently the company went bankrupt and stole my deposit of $4750. Possible criminal activity. Definite lies and deception. Lots of claims from my group of it being ok and being fixed but no evidence of such whatsoever. I just had problems with this company. Nighmare in my honeymoon. This company did not do all activities payed and did not reimburse us. The car used for Safari did not have break, very old. The owner and the subcontractor agent of the company disappeared with no responds for refunds.
