We wanted to support a local company in Tanzania and took contact to Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris. The manager Geoffrey was immediately very helpful in answering our questions and trying to design a safari after our requests. Even when we had problems with bank transfers Geoffrey was calm and helpful. Everything was so well arranged from start to end. The drivers from/to the airport were so friendly, funny and good careful drivers. Eddy/Edi, our fantastic guide was very knowledgeable about all animals, birds, vegetation ect. He knew great spots to observe the animals. Eddy had the right and respectful attitude towards the wild animals by getting close enough without disturbing. Also he said: Now we'll let the cheetah rest so it can eat it's prey." What a fantastic ambassador for the animals. We did our Safari with Meru Slopes Tours and Safaris and we can only give the best recommendations. We handle everything by email and as soon as Mr. Geofrey was always available, responding immediately. We made a custom-made Safari, we chose the parks and hotels and there was no problem. We did the Safari with the guide named Mudi, who speaks English and Spanish, and to whom we give our sincerest thanks for the amazing experience we had! It was incredible and relentless. Always available, committed to finding the animals, and very knowledgeable about the parks. We woke up very early on his initiative so that we could observe the animals first thing in the morning without much confusion. I always tried different routes from the other guides so that we could see the animals in a more isolated way, without a bunch of jeeps that often affect visibility and even keep the animals away. Thanks to Mudi, we observed incredible wildlife sceneries. You can see that he has a lot of experience and that he really knows the parks perfectly. We recommend it without a doubt. We also wanted to visit a Masai community and so the Mudi guide took care of everything. During Safari we always had hot food from a pan, unlike other companies that worked with box lunch.
