By the end of April, the wildebeest migration starts to spread west across the plains towards the Seronera area (central Serengeti) and Western Corridor (western Serengeti). The majority of the migration can normally be seen in the Seronera area (or just south of the Seronera, in the southern plains) from April to May. In June the majority of the migration can then be found in the Western Corridor.

Wir waren im Mai 2022 mit dem deutschsprachigen Guide Samuel für 4 Tage auf individueller privater Tour (Serengeti, Western Corridor, Ngrorongoro Krater). Samuel kannte sich sehr gut aus und war immer sehr bemüht, uns die Reise so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Auch das Fahrzeug war einwandfrei. Sehr positiv überrascht waren wir von den Lodges. Diese waren wunderschön. Auch beim Essen waren wir als Vegetarier sehr zufrieden. Wir bekamen liebevoll zubereitete Gerichte, was (so wie wir das gesehen haben) nicht bei allen Anbietern der Fall ist. Wir können Meru Slopes weiterempfehlen !

My family had the best adventure and experience with Douglas! He catered to us and ensured my 2 young children were having the best time. He also made note on the second day of the food that they liked and had it in our packed lunch from then on out. He can spot any lion and leopard sitting in a tree, cheetahs in the distance and the rhino hiding in the tall bushes. Such an amazing experience and we definitely were not ready to leave. Would recommend and hope to be back in 2 years. Asante

Meru Slopes is hands down the best safari company my family and I have used. We do a lot of safaris and our experience with them was beyond memorable. Douglas our guide, was so kind, informative, helpful and awesome to our two little girls. It felt like family and above all he managed to get us to check all the “BIG FIVE” animals and more.
