A truly unforgettable experience with Meru Slopes. Salew is a great guide, he knows the animals very well and shares his knowledge well. Also, he is great at finding animals so we saw everything we wanted. This adventure exceeded all our expectations. The accommodation was also good and the atmosphere of camping in the Serengeti is magical. I recommend Meru Slopes, it will be experience to remember !

The 6-day camping safari with Meru Slopes was perfect. Everything is very well organized, the food is very good, and the price is among the most affordable. It is a perfect option for discovering the national parks of Northern Tanzania on a tight budget.

We had a great experience with Meru Slopes. Other operators we checked with couldn't believe the price we got - which made us nervous, until we actually did the Safari. We were not disappointed. We had a great driver & guide (Daniel) who was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife. He taught us a lot about all the birds and wildlife, and he never hurried us to leave a spot. Our early mornings (highly recommended) meant that we had some unencumbered wildlife encounters without others around. Salim (our cook) wise likewise excellent. We are vegetarian, and Salim did a great job of making delicious food. We had different soups every night and hot lunches every day. Geofrey (the owner/manager) was super communicative, very helpful, and when we had an issue (on our end) with a bank transfer, there was never a worry from Geofrey. If you have a budget and need an inexpensive option, you will see exactly the same wildlife on this trip and the guide, cook, food & transportation is excellent.
