7-Day Private Tanzania Safari with Sunset Walking on the Crater Rim and Maasai

We recently went on 7 days Lion King Safari in Arusha. We were randomly appointed a driver/guide by the name of Gilbert to do the tour. We were very nervous coming to Africa with no friends or family. It was our longest desired to visit Tanzania . When we first met Gilbert he was calm and very welcoming . He immediately calm our nerves and assure us we would have a grand time on the safari tour. Gilbert was outstanding and accommodating and well respected guide among his peers. We notice that first hand. In Serengeti NATIONAL PARK where we saw his magic where no other guide wants to go ,because of the wet conditions. He convinces another guide to go and look for the lion who defeated Bob as the king of the lions . Even though we did not see the newly crowned KING OF THE SERENGETI his communication and determination skills over the radio were incredible . We were able to see the BIG FIVE. Thanks to him. We feel honored to have a guide with so much knowledge and experience to achieve our dream. We are so grateful to him as well the team at Lion King Safari . Roy

This was the experience of a lifetime. Lion King made all the arrangements and our group of three saw so many animals. Our driver and guide Abu knew everything about the plants and animals and the places we visited. Our safari included visiting a local nomadic tribe that did not speak Swahili so Abu brought along a “local.” guide to communicate. This was also a once in a lifetime experience. We saw multiple packs of lions including cubs, we were surrounded by a huge herd of elephants that then crossed over a river in front of our vehicle (with no other cars around), we experienced a massive herd of giraffes, we also saw monkeys, baboons, alligators, hippopotamus, hyaenas, wildebeest, cheetahs, leopard and tons more. The Ngorongoro crater was surreal and should not to be missed. All the accommodations and meals were great and I highly recommend Lion King!

What a phenomenal experience we had in the Serengeti with our guide Gilbert / Lion King Adventures. Nice lodges, fine bush camps, mostly very good food (excellent pack lunches). Gilbert is very knowledgable and communicates well in English. Our visit to a Maasai village was exceptionally interesting and personal. Lion King's itinerary worked well for us, and we were in the field with tens of thousands of wildebeest and zebras, thousands of flamingos and impalas, and several elephants, graceful giraffes, two black rhinos, and lots of hippos and baboons and hyenas. Also lions and leopards and cheetahs up close and personal: including two successful hunts. Lion King is a fine outfit, and you will enjoy this opportunity to experience life and death on the range.
