Start your journey in this 4-hours snorkeling tour in Zanzibar City and travel to Mnemba Atoll in the northeast coast of the Island. A Marine Reserve, well known for its fish life like lionfish, moray eels, stingrays, and turtles swimming around in the shallows. Venture further out the reef drops away into a big reef wall inhabited by schools of giant trevally and emperor fish hunting, yellow snappers, barracuda and if possible napoleon fish and turtles. The snorkeling trips are accompanied by an experienced guide who will help you find the fish, answer any questions you have about them and ensure you are safe and comfortable.

Überlaufen, Delphine wurden eher gejagt, als das man mit ihnen in Ruhe schnorcheln konnte. Sandbank war nicht möglich wegen Flut. Dafür morgens um 6 Uhr aufstehen, lohnt sich nicht.

Das Ziel ist toll - aber komplett überlaufen. Schon am Parkplatz herrscht Chaos durch die vielen Taxibusse. Weit über 100 Boote sind zur Zeit unterwegs, alle halten am selben Platz nach Delfinen Ausschau. Sobald eine Finne gesichtet wird, rasen zig Boote eng aneinander los. Vereinzelt springen Schnorchler zwischen den fahrenden Booten ins Wasser, sehr gefährlich. Wir hetzen mit allen anderen Booten den immer wieder auftauchenden Tieren nach, die offensichtlich vor uns wegschwimmen. Wir bitten, das zu beenden und fahren weiter zum Schnorcheln. Es gibt viel zu sehen - aber immer wieder fahren Boote mitten durch unzählige Schnorchler durch. Unser Guide schwimmt mit uns dem Riff entlang und passt auf. Wir bekommen frisches Obst am Boot. Wir raten ab - toller Ort, vollkommen überlaufen und teilweise gefährlich.
