Let me start off by saying that the actual one hour tour of the Jozani Forest was fine.
The charge for what was basically a taxi ride was way too high. The actual cost for admission to the forest was $12 USD per person, 3 people. The total charge for the experience was $256.10! That equates to a $220.10 charge for the taxi ride for 3 of us. To put it in perspective, our hotel booked us a private driver to tour the whole island for 8 hours and we paid the driver $75. After the tour, I wrote the tour company and expressed my unhappiness with the total bill. I received no response. By the way, the driver spoke almost no English.
