This is one of the last remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colubus monkey. The forest is 2,512 hectares (6,207 acres) in size and was declared a nature reserve in the 1960′s. Wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible on the pathways. Our guides are also naturalists and nature lovers will have a wonderful time in the nature reserve. They were an endangered species, but numbers have increased in recent years thanks to conservation work by the nature reserve working closely with the local people. It is estimated that there are now between 2,000-2,500 monkeys. The monkeys are wild, but it is possible to get close to them. The Rock restaurant. It is most popular restaurant in Zanzibar it's found east coast of Zanzibar, the restaurant is on the rock, but the food is super delicious. The rock restaurant is Traveler choice.

Das ist reiner Touri-Nepp. Man bekommt hier einen Guide zugewiesen und unserer war katastrophal inkompetent. Auch sonst gibt es hier nicht viel zu sehen, ein Spaziergang durch einen Wald mit ein paar Äffchen am Parkplatz. Wenn man nur auf Sansibar ist, dann ist das vielleicht ein Abwechslung, aber keine aufregende. Wenn man auch auf eine Safari am Festlang geht, dann kann man das getrost auslassen.

Heute ging es mit unserem Tour Guide Ali in den Jozani Forest Nationalpark ( Ali ´s Handy u. Whats App Kontakt: +255 778943116, spricht gut englisch und französisch). Wir können ihn nur weiter empfehlen! Es klappt alles, was er organisiert. Er war immer pünktlich, sehr freundlich und zuvor kommend. Im Nationalpark hat ein Ranger die Führung übernommen. Wir haben viel über Flora und Fauna erfahren und die nur hier vorkommenden "Roten Kolubusaffen" gesehen sowie einen gesunden Mangrovenwald.

Teníamos con esta empresa la visita a Stone Town, mientras esperábamos nos cancelaron la visita a Jozani que teníamos reservada con otra empresa. Mohamed, se ofreció para organizarnos la visita con ellos. Durante el tiempo en Stone Town, el se encargo de prepararnos la visita a Jozani, buscando coche y chofer, y nos gestiono poniéndose en contacto con nuestro taxi para el regreso a nuestro hotel, el guía fue el mismo y salió todo perfecto. El bosque es precioso y lo recorres con un Ranger, que te lleva a encontrar los monos, y a visitar los manglares. Queremos a gradecer a esta empresa la eficacia en la solución del problema con la cancelación y su eficacia a la hora de solventar el problema.
