Materuni waterfall At the root of Kilimanjaro Mountain, we have a village called Materuni villages are home of Chagga and when you drive to the village they will welcome you with a smile and happiness. We are sure they wish you a good day because they already know how beautiful. From the main rode is a hike for 45 min so we will recommend that you have a good shoe. On the way to the waterfall, you will walk through the rain forest and field of banana and coffee plantation and the smell of the flowey. Your guide will tell you about the culture of Chagga and show you the flower of love and forgiveness. When you have reached the Materuni waterfall you can go and swim but remember the water is really cold. It makes sense because the water is coming from the glacier of Kilimanjaro. If you like to swim under the waterfall you can tray but the steam from the water is really strong so be careful but we know it is possible. Just have it in your mind that in Materuni you swim at your own risk.

    Kinukamori Waterfalls Kinukamori waterfall is one of the attractive waterfalls in Marangu northern Tanzania. Most of visitors in this waterfall usually visit the area while conducting execution in Marangu area. The drop height of water is approximately 15m high water fall and it lies in the small park maintained by the district council. Location: Kinukamori waterfall is located in Marangu area just 4km from Mount Kilimanjaro entrance gate and about 20 minutes walk from the Marangu town centre. Accessibility: • By road Arrive in Kilimanjaro International Airport, then transfer to Kinukamori waterfall at Kilimanjaro mountain slopes Marangu gate for about one and half an hours’ drive. Climate: • Temperature The temperature of Marangu area ranges between 180c to 300c • Rainfall The rainfall of the area ranges between 2300mm and 4500mm Attraction: • Animals Black and white Colubus Monkeys are found in the area during the rain season. • Birds Forest birds are also found in the area surrounding the waterfall. We went to the feet of the Klimanjaro. We went down a mountain to the Klimanjaro waterfalls, it was really challenging and amazing. Hereafter we went on a coffee tour with the local people. We made our own coffee, it was really amazing. We also got local food, it was really good. The people were very kind and they really were open and friendly. If you go to Tanzania you should really visit the mochi people. They are really kind and the place is wonderful.
