Wow wow wow what an experience! My wife and I did a 5 day tour of lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater for our honeymoon and it was an experience we will never forget. This adventure, we will tell our future kids about for years to come, would not have been possible without our AMAZING guide GEORGE. From the moment he picked us up from the airport, we were met with a friendly smile and a spotless vehicle. George’s enthusiasm for Tanzania and the wild life is so contagious. He was so informative about everything in Tanzania and his knowledge of the wildlife is astonishing. We saw so many animals and managed to spot the Big 5!! He answered every one of our stupid questions, in depth, and always with a smile. His time management is unrivaled. He definitely went above and beyond for us to have the best experience possible and we are extremely thankful to him for giving us the best honeymoon we could have imagined. And to top it off, my luggage went missing at the airport and George worked, tirelessly, to track it down and have it returned to me. We will definitely be coming back and we will be recommending this to all of our friends, especially George the Greatest Guide!!

My wife and I recently did a safari through the Serengeti with a shorter stay in Ngorongoro and Manyara. When researching how, when and wear to stay prior to our trip the whole thing seemed so overwhelming - Enter Hugo our journey planner. On the ground and starting day 1 of our safari we were paired with Hassani as our driver and guide. I am truly grateful to have had Hassani as our guide for the next 6 days on safari, his level of knowledge on the flora and fauna and animal behaviour meant we often had amazing experiences all to ourselves. Every morning we prayed to the safari god, every day he delivered to the point by the end of the trip my wife and I were convinced Hassani was the safari god, or at least had a direct line to him! Jambo! I don't even know where to begin. My husband and I did a private 6 Day safari through Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti in late February/early March 2023. From the very beginning stages of planning our trip with Hugo, we instantly felt like The Soul of Tanzania was the right choice for us. Poor Hugo - we asked him so many questions and changed our itinerary so many times, but he was always so helpful and accommodating. Then, Hassani, our wonderful guide. I can't put into words how grateful I am to have had him as our guide. His knowledge of everything flora and fauna, as well as the animal's behaviours and seasons, meant we saw some incredible sights - and often just with us and no other cars. Every morning we would jump into the car and say out loud what we wanted to see that day, joking that we were saying it to the Safari God. After the first few days of everything we asked for, coming true, we started to believe the Hassani was the Safari God. Our daily lunches together talking about life with the occasional elephant or Marabou Stalk wandering through, and Hassani teaching me Swahili, also made our tour really special. From the moment you are picked up to the bitter-sweet goodbye, the experience was beyond our wildest dreams. We are truly grateful to have met Hassani and been a part of the Soul of Tanzania experience. Hassani - until next time when we "hit the road jack" together again ;) Hakuna Shida
