On this 6-day safari, the great migrating herds of wildebeests and zebras are situated at Lake Ndutu which is found in the Ngorongoro conservation area and a part of Serengeti eco-system and our main target is from Dec to April. From January it is the best time to witness the calving as they spread out across the short-grass plains and predators are just around waiting for their opportunities to make a hunt. You will experience both Tarangire, South Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara.

    We had a great time visiting several parks. We took a mid-range option and it was a perfect balance between comfort and closeness to nature. From the very first contact the Lion King Adventures was very responsive, reliable and highly professional. We saw a lot of animals, including the great five in their natural habitat. This wanderful adventure would not be the same if it was not for our guide Aziz. He has a comprehensive knowledge about the local fauna, was able to spot many animals and shared many interesting facts about them. At the same time he appreciated their space. Most of all his positive nature, friendliness, tactfulnes made this trip unforgettable. Thank you once again Aziz!

    I would highly recommend planning your trip to Tanzania with Lion King, and would request Mwita as your guide if you can. We saw the most incredible animals in the wild, and up close. Mwita is very experienced at tracking the animals so he knew where to take us, he also let us set our own pace each day and made the whole thing fun. The accommodations were very nice, and even the tented camps were luxurious. This was our first time on safari and it well exceeded our expectation, a real bucket list experience. The Lion King team were responsive and helpful in setting up our itinerary, and made us feel comfortable throughout the process as two female travellers.

    My wife and I came to Tanzania on our honeymoon. We were greeted at the airport by a representative of the company and promptly taken to our accommodations. During our safari, our guide, Leonard, was incredible. He had great information not only about the animals and parks we were seeing, but also about the local cultures - he was able to answer just about any random question that we had in relation to the Safari or Tanzania. A lot of effort went in to making sure we were comfortable, and well-fed and hydrated on our trip which we felt appreciated. I would recommend this trip to anyone who is interested in going on a Tanzanian Safari.
