We visited Mnemba island where we did some snorkelling, on our way back we saw dolphins swimming in the open sea. They took an extra detour to ensure we were able to see more dolphins as we hadn’t seen any on our way out.
We took a day trip to spice farm, Nakupendo island, Prison island and stone town.
Nakupendo island was our favourite!!! we stayed until the island had almost disappeared with the high tide, the feeling of being in the middle of the ocean with nature at its best is second to none. The lunch they provided was also scrumptious! There was no pressure from the team to get us off.
The tortoises on prison island we’re amazing!
We also took the sunset cruise which was really fun. I just wish I had my swimming costume on so I could have jumped into the sea from the top deck of the boat!
The turtle conservation farm was another trip where we got to feed and swim with the turtles!!
It was an incredible holiday made so by Captain Mawingu and his crew!
Thank you so very much
