We really enjoyed the historical walking tour with Mohamed, our guide Mohamed was super nice, he is very professional and knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about history of zanzibar, culture and modern traditions, he showed us different attractions but very interesting places for was at fish and spice market. We highly recommend him, he the one of the best tour guide in Zanzibar.

Sehr interessanter Halbtages-Ausflug nach Stone Town. Wir haben zuerst das Sklavenmuseum besichtigt, sind dann mit unserem (deutschsprachigen!) Guide Mohamed durch den grossen Markt gelaufen, wo wir in aller Ruhe die grosse Auswahl der Waren (Fleisch, Fisch, Gemüse, Kaffee, Gewürze) ansehen konnten. Dann die bekannten Gebäude von aussen besichtigt, diese sind leider oft baufällig oder wurden gerade renoviert. Es kam nie das Gefühl auf, in einem geschichtsträchtigen Stadtviertel zu sein. Trotz allem sehr interessant auch dank den Ausführungen unseres Guides. Gute Sache, um den Badeurlaub am Strand mal zu unterbrechen.

The guide (Mohamed) was very prepared. He summarized us the story of the city, showing us the main point of the actual Stone Town city. We recommend him.
