    Zanzibar is also known as Spice Island, because of having a lot of spices. Your visit to the Spice Farm you will be able to see how do they grow, how the plants look like, the production, and much more. Also you will enjoy fresh fruits from the farm and see a local climbing a coconut tree while singing a local song (Jambo Bwana).

    At the Jozani Forest, you will spot different species of monkeys including the red colobus monkey (rare species), then you will visit the Plantation area and finally Mangroove Broadwalk.

    Stone Town is one of the oldest cities in East Africa with a lot of histories from Europeans, Arabs, Indians, and others. During this tour we will visit and explore all landmarks in Stone Town including the Old Fort, House of Wonders (National Museum), Sultan Palace, Anglican Cathedral, Darajani Market, Slave chambers, Hamamni Baths, and much more

Our driver/guide Lemaney, from Lazuli Tours was excellent and provided all the support we needed as we experienced a wonderful day. Every part of the tour was interesting and the guides at each place were very good.

This tour was not what we expected. You are basically paying for a private shuttle and guided tour once you get to each location. We expected to be on a guided tour the whole day with a single guide. Instead we had a shuttle driver that drove us to the 3 different sites and barely spoke to us. Once we arrived at a site, we were handed off to someone who would provide us with a guided tour. The most time we spent at any location was at the Jozani Forest and it was less than 2 hours. We probably spent more time in the car driving from location to location. Lastly it says that bottled water and snacks are included, but none were provided. Be sure to bring your own.
