First up, this is a mountain bike tour. We do not offer tours by e-bike. Be prepared to pedal! Enjoy a scenic cycle ride through Korcula’s beautiful countryside, visiting local producers and treating your taste buds to fantastic delights. Starting from Korčula Town, we head towards Lumbarda with our first stop just 15 minutes away. Here, you'll meet one of the region’s top honey producers, learn about their process, and taste their delicious honey. Back on your bike, we’ll take picturesque country trails, passing olive groves and vineyards, before arriving at family run Grk-producing winery. Sit back and savour several island-produced wines, paired with delicious regional snacks. Our final stop is a short pedal away at the home of our friend Ivan. You'll sample their award-winning jams, homemade liqueurs, wine, sweet treats, and olive oil. This taste extravaganza is topped off with crepe-style pancakes filled with jam. Afterward, you'll be transferred back to Korcula by van.

    On this tour we cycle to Lumbarda where we visit three local producers for tastings: a honey producer, a winery and local household.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Important note about the cycling. Bikes are mountain bikes. We recommend that you have a good level of fitness and experience of riding a bike. You will cycle around 10kms and this includes some road cycling, several hills and some off-road terrain. Keep in mind as well it gets very hot on Korcula, especially from late June until the end of August and you will be cycling in the sun. We would class the ride as moderate but the hills and heat can be more of a challenge for some people. Although the ride is leisurely, we just want to ensure you will be comfortable to complete the ride.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Fantastic day out, could not recommend more! Delicious food and so much amazing wine from great places along the bike ride. Great way to see the island. Will definitely be telling our friends to do this. Thanks John :)!!

John & Rachael run a fantastic operation! They made the booking exceptionally easy — I was coming to Korcula for the day on a ferry from Split. As the ferry was arriving at the same time as your start, John suggested reaching out to others on tour to push the start time by 30 minutes to allow for adequate time. As the tour was getting started, he was attentive in fitting everyone for their bike and thoroughly described our route and managed expectations for less experienced bikers. Throughout the tour John provided a lot of background and history about the island and was knowledgeable to answer questions. The selection of stops was well picked between a small operation that makes honey (along with olive oil, marmalade, & gin), a private home of a local farmer that grows fruit and makes wines & spirits, and a small commercial winery. All of these complemented one another quite well and made for a fantastic experience. I would not recommend doing this as a day trip as it makes for a long day (2.5 ferry ride to Split each way) and doesn’t allow enough time to see the rest of Korcula

We could not recommend this tour enough! John was a wonderful guide (ask him about international house hunters!). The food was to die for and the bike ride was beautiful. Overall the best part of our trip to Croatia. If you book through his website he also send you a stack of recommendations for the rest of the island. It was well used by our family! If biking is not for you book something else with John and his wife, you won’t retreat it!
