Join the Fyne Ales team for an afternoon all about beer in the stunning surroundings of Glen Fyne, named Beer Destination of the Year at the 2017 Scottish Beer Awards. Our Tasting Tour offers you the chance to learn about the history of one of Scotland’s best breweries, explore our two brewing facilities and learn all about how our award-winning beers are produced. Lead by an expert member of our team, the tour will showcase what makes our farm brewery and beers so unique before concluding with a chance to try a selection of them for yourself in our Brewery Tap.

    Starting in the Brewery Tap, a member of the team will give you an insight into the history of Glen Fyne and Fyne Ales, before an introduction to the key principles and ingredients of brewing. Heading into original brewery, a converted dairy barn, our team will introduce you to the original Fyne Ales brew kit that is still going strong today. You’ll find out about each vessel’s role in the beer- making process and as the original brewery is now home to the Origins Brewing project, you’ll also learn about our use of barrels for fermenting and finishing our special-release beers. Next, you’ll head across the yard to our new brewery (a converted sheep shed), the state-of-the-art facility where we produce our year-round beers. Our guide will share knowledge about the benefits of brewing with an all-British system and the high-level quality processes we use to ensure every pint is perfect when it rolls out of the door. Back at the Brewery Tap, your guide will talk you through the current beer line-up and pour three third-pint tasters to enjoy in the cosy indoor space or in the courtyard. If the weather’s good, you can take a wander down the glen to take in more of the stunning scenery.

My dads birthday present this year was the tasting tour of the brewery, and he definitely wasnt disappointed! Graham our guide did an amazing job! Would throughly recommend to anyone looking for a great trip! Picturesque highlands with amazing staff, doesnt get better than that!

I visited the brewery back at the end of October. We were guided round and told all about the farm, it's history and the full workings and history of the brewery, very informative and the fella that showed us round (whose name escapes me now) was wonderfully knowledgeable about what was produced and how it was done. We sampled the majority of the stock in the tap room afterwards and came home with a very priced case of beer which I am enjoying most nights. I have been told they do mail order and will making another order after Christmas. Vital spark and highlander being my favourites.
