I took early morning shuttle from Tel aviv to Eilat to come back the same day. And even though the trip was really long, i had a great time in Eilat. Thanks to the guide and driver Eli Kabalo. He picked me from Israel-Jordan border where all the other tourists went to Petra, he took me to Eilat. I was the only one but Eli made sure that I was comfortable and had a nice breakfast at sea facing restaurant (included as part of the trip).
He then drove me to a very nice, family sort of scuba diving place where I got a very good personal instructor and diving lesson (being a total beginner).
Eli tried to book desert jeep safari and Quad for me but as it was sunday, safari didnt go much and i didnt bring my driving licence, so i couldnt take Quad bike.
But Eli tried different options and finally he came up with the idea of going and doing an easy green hike in Red canyon (around 25km from Eilat). The road to Red canyon was amazing and the red canyon hike (green) took around 1 hour. Eli was kind enough to go with me on the hike as I was a little worried being on my own there and took amazing pictures. That was the highlight for me as it was almost like an Antelope Canyon in US.
My full day in Eilat became super amazing finally. Thanks to Eli. ????????????
