This 3-hour tour includes a 1-hour Tai Chi class and the tour of the Temple of Heaven. The temple is located in the southeast of Beijing downtown with a very exquisite design. In the past dynasties of ancient China, emperors would hold ceremony of worshiping the Heaven and pray for favorable weather and abundant harvests. The main building in the temple is the "Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest". Note: Your tour can be started from either 9am or 2pm. Preferably in the morning since it appears to be more lively and more things to see in The Temple of Heaven. Highlight - visit the local citizen's most popular exercise place, see their various exercise forms - follow the English speaking excellent Tai Chi master learn authentic Tai Chi forms - In-depth culture-based martial art study, understand the indigenous philosophies- Taoism, Yiching, Ying Yang ideas etc.

I have frequently encouraged people to try TaiChi, and always said "one day" I'll try it myself. Well, my first lesson in the park at Temple of Heaven, led by a master, was truly informative and encouraging to continue.

This was super awesome. Our guide was great and he was really helpful. He took us to the Pearl market which is right across the road from the temple of heaven. I highly recommend you do this when you visit China....

The tai chi class was great and the Temple of Heaven very beautiful. I also loved the art studio where the tai chi class was taught. I bought several things there.
