Here tropical trees and aromatic plants grow together with several kinds of aloe vera. Than we will climb up to the mountain winery and you will taste 4 local wines and Canarian tapas. We will walk through the vineyard admiring the spectacular views over the ocean. You will receive information about the vineyard, Canarian wines, local legends and history. Than we will visit the Herques Gorge trying to find the Cave of the 1000 Aboriginal Mummies! Than you can have lunch back to hotel or we can find a great local restaurant in the mountains.

For Cruise Ship Passengers the pickup point is Plaza de España, within walking distance of the Cruise Ship Terminal. There is also a Free Shuttle Bus from the dock to the Terminal. There's no public parking in the area. We will Drop You Off at the Terminal. Thank you for understanding. We pick up ALL TOURISTS from the NORTH or SOUTH of Tenerife. You will participate in a practical demonstration of the qualities of this miraculous plant. You will be able to taste an aloe vera leaf that will be cut right in front of you. Our very friendly hosts will explain in detail what are the properties of the products obtained from pure aloe vera gel. We will also visit the farm store where, if you want, you can buy products made from pure aloe vera juice and gel. You will be able to walk through this beautiful plantation with an area of ​​11,000 square meters and over 7,000 Aloe Vera plants that grow organically. This location offers spectacular views, harmoniously combining the green of the nearby mountains with the blue of the Atlantic Ocean.     Candelaria is an important pilgrim site and many of its visitors come to the Basilica to the shrine of the Black Madonna, who is the patron saint of the Canary Islands. On the square in front of the Basilica on the edge of the sea, the Plaza de Patrona de Canarias, there are 9 colossal statues of Guanche (Aboriginal) Kings along the sea wall. The old town of Candelaria is pleasant and the main square has plenty of bars and nice shops. You can find some lovely wooden balconies typicals of Canarian architecture. There is also a nice promenade along the sea-front and a small harbour. You can visit the Cave Chapel of San Blas, the Basilica (if is open), have some tasty CHURROS, tasty icecream, a coffee, a glass of wine or a beer.. Great tour! Theo is a great host. The winery was amazing with many great wine and tapas. Lunch at the restaurant is a must. Nice walk through the gorge. Would wish for more than one winery visit and less time with other activities, but thats just my opinion :).

Me and my family had a really amazing day trip with wonderful Theo, our host guide. We explored the area of Candelaria and he shared with us interesting stories and mysteries of the Islands, historical facts and funny moments. Thank you a lot Theo :)
