PADI scuba diver training is the most popular and widely recognised dive training throughout the world. With the Open Water certification you can dive to a recommended depth of 18m anywhere around the world. It will transform your future holidays as you explore the underwater world around the globe. The certification can be upgraded to PADI Advanced Open Water at any PADI Dive Center, allowing you access to even more dive sites.

  • Diving less than 24 hours before flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

We signed up for the Open Water Diver at Aqua-Marina as a group of seven aged 16-57, aware that we have different requirements in terms of physicality and affinity for the water. Our dive guides Ines, Ray and Astrid have been excellent at combining the different requirements of the participants with absolute empathy, great empathy and oriented to the respective level of performance - always pursuing the course objective. Everyone was so well motivated that we all successfully completed the course and did many exciting dives with the team. The team is highly professional and excellently certified; we have always found it very warm, helpful and dedicated. It was a great experience! We felt looked after the best and safe at all times. My personal highlight was the last deep dive @Astrid, you know why ????. The fact that I have now fallen for diving is down to this great diving team. We are guaranteed to come back and can't wait!
