This excursion will take you sky high to enjoy a unique experience, as you encounter the highest peak in Spain, El Teide. We will begin to ascend until we reach 2,370 m. above sea level. During the tour, we will pass through different landscapes with wonderful views and traditional villages. We will cross the forest of Canarian pine until we reach Las Cañadas del Teide, where you will begin to understand that Tenerife is an island of contrasts. Along the route, we will make some stops so you can admire everything that this natural space offers. It was declared a National Park in 1954 with the aim of protecting this landscape of incredible beauty and great ecological value. Optionally you can take the Teide Cable Car, located at 3550m, where you will be a few meters below the highest peak in Spain. We will cross one of the largest 'Calderas' in the world. Visit the Roques de García, one of the most emblematic images of Tenerife.

We pick up all travellers from Puerto de la Cruz.
IMPORTANT: Pick-up will be from the closest bus stop, not the hotel's reception. The location information will be sent to you together with an excursion ticket.

Pick-up time depends on your hotel location (usually from 10:00 - 11:00). The excursion begins when all passengers boarded the coach, around 11:00.

Other area: If your hotel/apartment is not listed here, please enter it manually. You can also make a reservation if you stay in different areas, but then you'll need to drive yourself to the closest pickup point.

  • Cañadas del, Teide National Park, 38300 La Orotava, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain
    Teide Cable Car is an option on this tour. Travelers who choose to ascend on the cable car must reserve an additional ticket for it. Please be informed that a cable car can be shut for many reasons like weather conditions, maintenance, etc. In that case, we'll continue our tour and spend a little more time on other stops.

  • People with heart problems, pregnant women, and children under 3 are not allowed to ascend by a Cable-car due to the risk that high altitude poses to their health.
  • Suitable for people with disabilities or with reduced mobility. A máximum of 2 wheelchairs per bus. Priority seats on the front of the bus. The degree of disability must allow the person to get on the bus assisted by accompanying person.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Trip got cancelled 2 minutes before being picked up.. Have to wait 10 days for a refund. The weather was lovely that day so don't understand why it was cancelled just got the excuse the road was closed.

Hyrde bil och förbokade/köpte biljetter via hemsidan vulcano teide där fanns all information som behövdes, superbra då vi också bokat en dagsresa med guide från början men ändrade oss då vi kände att vi ville bestämma hur vi ville göra där uppe. för att åka upp i liften vilket var det bästa sättet tyckte vi. Ett tips är att kolla väderprognosen Vi hade en fantastisk dag däruppe och kan verkligen rekommendera denna utflykt!

this half day trip was so good. tour guide spoke 3 languages and information was constant. views from the volcano were amazing.
