Professional river guides will entertain and inform you about the river & natural history of the magnificent SNAKE RIVER. 360 degree views: of the Tetons to the North & the Snake River Range to the South, Munger Mountain west and the Gros Ventre range east. Known as the areas premier Bald Eagle nesting habitat these majestic birds are a guaranteed sighting, over 20 on one trip! Ospreys, beaver, otters, and larger ungulates moose, elk, and deer all call this stretch of river home. Eagle eye guides are experts at spotting all the features of this wetland from flora to fauna. Sit back and relax as they do the work, it's a precious break from the hustle and bustle, so you can enjoy the quiet and ease with the sound of the water under you.     Our 13-Mile Scenic Float Trip is the best value in a scenic float trip in Jackson Hole. The bald eagle is king on this stretch of the river, among the finest habitats for our nation's symbol in the lower 48 states. Osprey and Pelicans compete for the native cutthroat trout as well, and moose, deer, and elk occasionally appear to take a drink or escape the summer heat. Children as young as 3 are welcome. You’ll enjoy the warm summer afternoon or cool morning in the beautiful surroundings of the Snake River. This 13 mile stretch of river is shallow and calm perfect for those age 3 and up. Round trip is from 3-3.5 hours with approximately 2 hours spent on the river. Private Rafts Available.

  • WHAT TO WEAR:
  • For scenic floats, you should dress according to the weather. Keep in mind that the weather changes quickly at mountain elevations, and layering your clothing will enhance your comfort. This way you can peel or add layers as the conditions change. Sturdy shoes you wouldn't mind getting wet or dirty are recommended.

  • We have access to real-time doppler radar. Some trips cancel due to inclement weather. If you have concerns, please call our office. Weather changes quickly, so even inclement weather a half hour before departure does not necessarily mean cancellation. Cancelled trips result in offer to rebook or refund.

What beautiful scenery! This was a perfect way to rest our legs after two days of hiking. Aly was a great guide! She was knowledgeable about wildlife and the geology of the area.

Our three generation family greatly enjoyed this scenic and fun float trip. We saw many bald eagles, migrating pelicans and various other flora and wildlife. The views were incredible. Ali, the guide, was great with the grandkids and very knowledgeable about the area and sights. Everyone involved -- from the owners, bus driver to guides were very nice, friendly and really seemed to care about providing a safe, educational, fun day. They also were able to accommodate us moving the date of our float to one day earlier to take advantage of good weather. I'd also recommend saving some time to explore their store which has many great finds.

We needed to reschedule at their request at the last minute but were open to that change despite requiring us to get up earlier to travel to Jackson. Very friendly guide and the 13 mile float provided spectacular views of the Tetons. Easy process to get on the water and back to their location.
