Dinner and Jazz Cruise on the River Thames

War ein tolles Erlebnis die Themse runter zu schippern. Ich und meine Frau hätten uns gerne gewünscht, dass man das Menü wählen hätte können. Sonst war die Jazz Musik gut.

Thames Cruise dinner and jazz on the Thames My partner booked this cruise for valentines day. The tables were very cramped. We sat with another couple who we didn't know, the tables were so close we had to converse with them most of the evening. The food was awful, starter fish pate very small portion with a few pickles. The main was a small duck leg, with what I can tell lentils from a can in sauce and a small frozen potatoes rosti. Now the desert was the icing on the cake, a tasteless fondant on a very hard chocolate biscuit covered in red sticky sweet sauce, we were served one and told to share, needless to say we had one bite each and left the rest. We paid £90 each for the pleasure. The drinks were very expensive too. I will definitely not recommend this experience to anyone. We were definitely short changed. I felt sorry for the couple next to us who paid £120 more than we did. This was not value for money or a pleasurable experience. I have no photos of the food because they turned out all lights when the food was served.

Very nice boat tour on the Thames with great views and a 4-course menu. Food is really recommended. Price for the menu and the boat tour is absolutely justified. Especially in relation to the prices in the London pubs very good. Nice route with a duration of just under 3 hours. Starting at Westminder Abby and ending in the London Bridge area.
