We'll explore Pena Park, a living monument and exotic gem that crowns the sacred Sintra mountain. We'll guide you through the most beautiful palace grounds and terraces. From our point of view, the uniqueness of the site is outside, so we don't plan to visit the crowded rooms inside.   • Park and National Palace of Pena, Sintra, Portugal
    Start with a hike in the magical Pena Park up until the palace. We will guide you through this living monument, explaining Sintra's history and legends. Then, explore the vibrant Pena Palace's beautiful terraces, architecture, and history. The uniqueness of this site is outside, therefore we don't plan to visit the crowded rooms inside.

    Around lunchtime, stop in Sintra Old Historical Town. You may choose between eating a quick snack and visiting the National Sintra Palace (a true gem), or having a sit-down lunch and exploring the historical streets.

Booked this tour over a month in advance and get an email that the tour is cancelled without any reason. Based on the reviews I was looking forward to it. Oh well. Back to finding another tour guide

My family really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot. Rui guided us through all the sites the whole trip with his extensive knowledge about not just the main sites but also details on plants, statues and small sites we passed along the way. His passion for the history is evident. We specifically looked for a small group tour and are very glad we find this one--Rui's van takes 8 guests. Rui was attentive to everyone's needs. It actually felt like a private tour. Highly recommend!

It was just amazing! Ruthe was so enthusiastic and knew so many things! The castels were really nice but the gardens were the thing!! Also the view from the most western point in europe! I can really recommend Ruthe and this trip!
