If you want to take enough time and enjoy a pleasurable wine experience, this is for you. We had a wonderful time with Filippo! He was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We learned a lot about the unique wine scene in Bologna, and many laughs. The tour was also a little smaller so we got to ask a lot of questions and get to know the other people on the tour :) I would highly recommend it!

We had a lovely time on Filippo’s Bologna city wine tour. We tried some delicious wines and learnt so much about the wine regions of Italy, wine making techniques and wines we tasted. I love natural wines so was very excited to get to try these. Filippo is extremely knowledgeable and also provided some great recommendations for more wine bars and restaurants in Bologna.

Filippo guided my wife and I on a 1 hour tasting tour. I was a little concerned when I realised that on this particular occasion there were no others taking part. Filippo is however engaging company. He is expert on wine in general, Italian wines from all regions, and particularly those around Bologna. He introduced us to both fine examples of wines with which we were already familiar and others that we otherwise wouldn't have encountered. The hour passed most pleasantly and too quickly. We will book longer next time.
