As we used to live in Dublin, but were also travelling with friends who have never been, we wanted an "insider's" tour and not just your typical run-of-the-mill tourist intro. John contacted us prior to our booking to check what we wanted to do and most certainly hit the brief! It was an interesting tour, with lots of fun historical facts and beautiful walks along old streets. He paid attention to what we said we wanted to see and do and most certainly customised the tour to suit us. Will definitely recommend this and would request for him again, as our guide!

We had a great walking tour with John around Dublin. There were so many things that were close to Temple Bar. We used this tour to get our bearings around the city as it was our first day. Our group had middle schoolers to adults. He kept the history interesting and fun for everyone...we were just a bit jet lagged as we did this immediately after getting to the hotel. He was patient with us and stopped for lunch and a beverage! Very customizable historical journey.

We had a great three-hour walking tour of Dublin with Aideen. Our tour had a nice combination of history, sights, and talking about life in Ireland, past and present, with a local.
