I visited first thing in the morning on a Thursday at the end of November. I was surprised there were only 2 other visitors as it was market day in Delft. Regardless, the information presented about the history of the trade and the production details is interesting. There are lots of little films throughout the way to show you in detail how things are done. This is is good and I'm glad I didn't skip over these little films because the factory portion of the tour only showed the painting of a vase and not the actual molds/firing/etc. The location is great because it's only about a ten or fifteen minute walk along a lovely canal from the train station. You can then backtrack to visit the city center. Not only are these walking routes short, but they are very scenic.
My grandma gave me some pieces so I was interested in visiting this place, but if you aren't interested in decorative arts or pottery, this might not be your jam.
